Orange Boy 2 Days After Snake Bite

Boy: That was some dream I had. I dreamt that I ran across a new friend. He looked like fun. He was long and stringy like. I wanted to show my new friend some love and maybe give him a bitey or two, but he didn't want to play, so he tried crawling back into the hole or rock he was under. Of course that didn't deter me...I simply set about trying to dig my new friend out, after all he must have been in trouble, trying to hide like that...and then he bited me. He wasn't a very nice friend at all...
Moki: Ummm Orange Boy, I don't think that was a dream. Your face and paws where covered in dirt when you can home Sunday night and your face was all swollen.

Orange Boy: What you mean it actually happened? I was bited by a nasty snake?

Bean: Yup I am afraid so.

Orange Boy: Hmmm...you better let me go back outside so I can find that nasty snake and teach him a lesson. I'll show him who's boss!

Mini Munch: What are you stupid? All muscle and no brain that one is...

Orange Boy: What did you say?

Mini Munch: Nothing. I think the drugs are causing you to hear things...

Bean: Well Orange Boy made it through yet another night. The swelling around his eyes has gone down, and he is now able to open them fully, as you can see in the pictures above. The swelling along the bridge of his nose however has remained about the same. We consulted with his doctor via phone this morning, and as long as the swelling continues to go down and doesn't return, we do not need to bring Orange Boy back in. We do need to continue monitoring him 24/7 until the swelling is completely gone. Since Orange Boy's nose is still swollen, there is still a chance that the swelling around his eyes could return and spread to his throat.

Despite this possibility, it looks as though, if everything continues to go the way it has been, Orange Boy will make a complete recovery. He is eating, drinking and showing signs of his normal lovable self. After only a day, Orange Boy appears to be feeling well enough to try and escape outside. Of course we have talked to him and told him that the only outdoor trips he is allowed to make, will now be supervised trips with Moki, while being kept on a leash. Needless to say that Orange Boy is more displeased about losing his outdoor privileges, than he was about being bitten by the snake. He wanted us to tell you all that he would take the snake bitey anytime of the week over losing his outside privileges, but we didn't buy it and told him it must be the drugs talking...hehe...We will continue to provide updates until the swelling is completely gone and Orange Boy is fully out of the woods. Thanks for your continued purring and sending Orange Boy so many get well wishes!

Now as for the package Mr. Hendrix sent:
Mini Munch and Moki anxiously knocked over the opened box to find out what was inside the package...They found both the box and the outer wrapping of the paper very fun to play with...
Moki however couldn't resist seeing what was inside the nicely wrapped packaging...so he hogged it all to himself. Find out tomorrow what he saw, when we reveal the gift inside with hilarious video footage and pictures for "Wordless Wednesday..."
