By now, it appears as though everyone has already done this meme, so we are going to leave it open to anyone who has not already done so, but would like to give it a try...

And now for our second meme. Cecil tagged us for the "About Me," meme. Here are the rules:

The rules of the game get posted at the beginning. Each player answers the questions about themselves. 1.What was I doing 10 years ago? - Waiting to be born.

2.What are the 5 things on my to do list for today - Go potty, Take my morning medicine, eat, sleep, play. Add my nightly medicine, and another trip to the bathroom and that about sums things up for any given day...lol

4. Things I would do if I were a billionaire - If I where a billionarie, I would start a shelter for special needs kitties like me. The shelter would be staffed with specialists and no kitty would ever be euthanized because they where different.

6. Five places I have lived - In the wild, at a shelter, and at my current home. Sorry guys I am still young.

7. Five jobs I have had - Pin cushion, lab subject, professional napper, taste tester, bed hog.

Social Spark

As many of you know, we are always looking for ways to make money to help out with Moki's medical bills. In addition to accepting donations, we try to generate money through paid postings and sponsors. Often times this means visiting numerous sites, and signing up for numerous services, some of which pay you to write postings, and others who claim to find you paid sponsors. Needless to say, logging in and out of various sites looking for opportunities can be very time consuming...

Name That Tune Tuesday

We have recorded three videos of Moki eating treats, while listening to his daddy play the piano. A different song, which we think represents Moki nicely, has been recorded in each video. Can you name the tune(s)?

Now in regards to Orange Boy, many of you wondered just how on earth Orange Boy managed to get behind the T.V. like that...


No he didn't squeeze underneath the T.V. LOL...There is actually a big square cut out of the back of the entertainment center, for the electronic cords. Orange Boy likes to crawl behind the entertainment center and jump through the square, which puts him behind the T.V. whenever he wants to be alone. He has been doing this ever since he was a kitten and we first discovered the hiding place after noticing an orange tail hanging down from beneath our T.V. Hehe....

The Raccoon Who Thinks He's A Cat

Many of you expressed concern about our Mr. Coon Guy, so today we thought we'd share a little history on him. Mr. Coon Guy originally showed up at our house about two years ago. He was running with a pretty wild pack, who knocked over our trash cans, dug around in the trash, and tried eating the fish from our back yard pond. Needless to say, we told him he and his friends had to move on.

About a month later he returned. This time by himself. He was very apologetic, and informed us, that if we let him stay, he would never invite any of his friends, knock over our trash cans, eat our fish, or bother our cats. Two years later he is still holding true to his word...

The cats are not aggressive about their food, so they don't mind sharing it with Mr. Coon Guy. Mr. Coon Guy doesn't mind the cats, in fact he thinks he is one of them and often walks right under the outdoor patio furniture they are laying on. Everyone lives in harmony. Now normally cats and raccoons don't mix, but when you have one who thinks he's a cat, he tends to be pretty peaceful...lol. Mr. Coon Guy seems to know that he has it pretty good. He lives under the house during the day, has a nice pond to drink out of at night, and finishes off whatever cat food is left in the bowl we place outside every morning for a feral cat who showed up here about a year ago.

So that's Mr. Coon Guy's story, the raccoon who thinks he's a cat! The cats are now all indoors after Orange Boy's rattlesnake bite, so as long as Mr. Coon Guy continues to live in peace with the feral who is still outside, doesn't eat the fish from our pond, invite any of his friends, or knock over our trash cans, he is welcome to stay.

Fun Friday: Soar Like Superman

With the weekend almost here...

we believe Friday should be a day of fun...

Friday should be a day of dancing...

Of playing with loved ones..

A day to sleep in bowls...

And most of all...Friday should be a day to soar like "Superman..."

It is with all of these things in mind, that we are declaring from here on out, Friday to be "Fun Friday!"

Orange Boy: Hehe...I told momma bean that she had to blog about my handsome face right away, but for some reason, she fell asleep...and I couldn't get these beautiful pictures up of me until this morning...

Orange Boy: Aren't I the most handsome cat! Don't worry the fur will grow back, and the bite will be nothing more than a battle wound. They say scars make mancats look more manly...I bet I'll look really manly with mine. All the girl cats will go wild over me when I tell them I got this scar after battling a rattlesnake. They will be putty in my paws...
