Physical Therapy/ Hydro Therapy For Cats Appt. 4

Here are some pictures from Moki's forth physical therapy / hydro therapy appointment, which occurred this afternoon. Today's appointment was pretty uneventful. Moki paddled a little bit, but for the most part refused to do much of anything. We where able to get him to kick his front and back legs periodically throughout the appointment, but he refused to kick/paddle his legs for any length of time. His kicking and paddling was also fairly weak, when compared to his prior three appointments... We therefore decided to end his appointment a little early today...

We are going to try working with Moki in the bathtub a little during the week, to see if maybe our next appointment will be more successful... (One unsuccessful appointment out of four, isn't too bad.) Perhaps today was just an off day... in any event...

we hope you enjoy the remaining two pictures...(which remind us of "Disco Fever..." lol)

In other news:
The disk with the MRI images arrived from UC Davis today. As soon as we can figure out how to use the special medical software (image reader) we'll get them up for all of you to see! Well that's all for now...Enjoy whats left of the weekend!

Love Always,

Moki Joe and family

Who can blame the little doood? It's WATER! Personally, I'd be adding to it, not paddling in it. Heh.

Moki looks very unhappy. I hope you can work with him in the bathtub to improve his kicking and paddling. Maybe he just wasn't feeling too energetic today.

He didn't look to happy today. Poor little guy, he deserves an off-day.
He is such a brave, persistent little kitty. The pictures below of him playing with toys made us feel good.

Poor Moki, they ask you to do so much, and you have done everything they have asked with minimal fuss. It is okay to have a day where you didn't feel like cooperating as much. We hope the rest of your appointments go better.

Well young Moki, we are all entitled to an off day now and again, but you did do a bit of paddling, so that's a good result really.

Sometimes you feel like swimmin' and sometimes you feel like relaxin'! Moki has a sad little frown on his face.

Moki, do not be sad little guy, the water therapy is for your own good!

Moki just didn't feel like it that day. You can't always be brave and fighting, sometimes you just have to rest and renew your strength!

Anything living has off days. Guess this was one of his. Hope some in between sessions in the bathtub help encourage him to keep trying.

We finally got the award you gave us posted. Thanks.

Every kitty is entitled to an off day now and then. Especially when it's suppose to be the weekend. We are so proud of you!

Mommie's heart goes all a pitter patter when she sees you in the waters Moki.

Oh Moki! You did so well on your last appointment and this really is for the best for you. Please try harder next time. I know it is terrible being in the water, but really, it will be good for you in the long run!
