(Now back to your regularly scheduled program...)

Living in a multi-cat household can be a real challenge as I am sure you have read on many blogs. There are cats who like to pick on and beat up their siblings, and others who just like to be left alone. So what happens when you throw a kitty with a neurological disorder into a six cat, household mix? That is the focus of today's posting...

Moki for the most part can hold his own. While he may have trouble walking, cleaning himself, and using the litter box, he doesn't hesitate to let you know exactly what he wants and when he wants it. Moki may not do things like regular kitties, but he has adapted to get things done his way...

Each of Moki's siblings has been quite good at adjusting to Moki's needs. In the two videos, one above and one below, you will see that both Orange Boy and Mini Munch, are happy to share their food with Moki and do not mind having Moki by their side while they eat...

When it comes to play time, Moki is also included in the games. (In the video below you catch a quick glimpse of Lucy playing with Moki's tail..)

For the most part, Moki's siblings seem to be well aware of the fact that Moki has limitations. When playing with him, they all appear to keep that in mind. Lucy who is normally very aggressive when it comes to playing, is always very soft and gentle with Moki. Orange Boy tends to prefer giving headbutts to Moki verus flat out playing, Mini Munch likes to keep Moki company during the day while everyone else is outside. The two can often be found laying in the sun.

Little Kitty prefers to sleep next to Moki at night. Sissy, always waits patiently in line whenever she wants something to eat or drink at the same time as Moki and for Trina Bell, well she is too busy sleeping all day to give Moki much mind...

That is just one more example of why we cats are sooo wonderful. We are thoughtful, sweet little muffins.
Unfortunately, Jack and I are the kind of siblings that beat on eachother constantly. We take turns.
I usually snap because..I am cranky, my brother, he just wants to play 24/7.

Wouldn't it be a better world if all humans gave as much consideration to other humans who have special needs as Moki's housemates give to him. The cats have got it right.

I am so glad that the other cats realize Moki's limitations and play gently with him. Now if we could just get people to act like that.

It's so wonderful when the feline family in our home get along well...Moki and his furryfamily are so blessed to have beloved human like you and vice versa.

Though things get rough lately, Meaouwy Troops still like to share their furryfriend story about the unusual mark on her body and helping mommy disclose one of the reasons why we become the best communicator with humans:) so check them out in our blogs to find it more.

Out of curiousity, would a cart help Moki get around? I've read about carts being used to help cats and dogs with problems using their rear legs.

It is nice that they all be nice to Moki. I have to be gentle with Livvie when I play too, coz she is old and has problems, When I get too forgetfull my mummy reminds me.
