Moki Update and New Raffle Announcement

First off, let us say, that we are very sorry about our sporadic postings lately. Time has simply gotten a away from us. Momma bean has been so pressed for time, that she has literally found herself up at 2:00 a.m. cleaning the house, because that is the only chance she has to get all the house chores done. With that said, we have been keeping up with everyone we can, mostly through email and with the help of ML. Now that we have a moment to spare, we wanted to spend it giving you all an update on Moki, and hosting another raffle to help kitties in need. We will start by giving you an update first.

Moki continues to share a special relationship and bond with Orange Boy. Despite his struggles to get around, he relishes his time spent with Orange Boy, and never lets his medical problems get him down. The blood in Moki's urine is back, and this time it has come back full force. I think Moki may have once again built up a tolerance to the Clindamycin we give him on a daily basis, so once we finish up this bottle, we will be looking to change Moki's meds once again, to see if we can get the UTI under control. Moki's cough has also come back, although at the present time, it is not yet as bad as when it originally showed up. The next time I speak with Moki vet, we will also speak about giving Moki another dose of Tamiflu. Hopefully by switching Moki's meds and giving him another dose of Tamiflu, we can start to get things under check again.

Despite all of Moki's medical problems, he remains a happy boy. He is such a sweet heart, never letting things get him down no matter how bad things get. He continues to fight the good fight, and we will continue to be here to assist him...and now for the raffle...

This week we will be raffling off this cool package of donated goods. Telsa's mom made and donated the amazing fleece blanket shown in the above picture. It is the cutest thing we've ever seen. Soft, warm and cozy, it is the perfect size for any kitty to curl up with, on a cold winters day. Peggy's Place donated the awesome ceramic bowl, yellow catnip stuffed pillow, and red catnip stuffed cat toy, all of which Peggy made herself. We must say we think both Telsa's mom, and Peggy are quite talented, and we think you'll agree! The cat stickers and and "The World Is Your Litter Box," book, where both donated by ML, where as the cute cat plate was donated by Criz Cats. The picture frame, green catnip stuffed toy, and two cat magnets where all donated by us. Together we think the items make for one amazing raffle! The proceeds from the raffle will benefit three amazing cat families, Criz Cats, Beau, and Moki. The raffle will run until 11/22, and as always, the tickets will be only $2.00 to purchase. If you would like to help, you can do so by purchasing a ticket(s) below. Thanks in advance to all those who have helped out in the past and continue to do so. (We never did finish up sending out all our thank you cards, but have plans to send out thank you cards to all those who have helped, and to whom have not yet received a thank you card in the near future.)

We are glad for an update on Moki. We are glad he continues to fight and we want you to know that we continue to purr and purr for him.

That looks like a great raffle. Meowm may have to send some money for a raffle since she works with cash only.
