We Have Good News...

Moki went to the doctor again today for his reoccuring UTI, and guess what...Moki's temperature is now back up to a normal 101! YAH!!!! He hasn't gained any additional weight, but he also hasn't lost any! As for the UTI, we are going to treat the bleeding as a result of bladder inflamation. We have done all the tests and we know no bacteria is present. We also know that if the bleeding was a result of Moki not fully expressing his bladder, well then, bacteria would be present. If a tumor or cancer was the cause, chances are pretty good that it would have shown up on at least one of the ultrasounds we have had done, so that leaves us with one other possible cause, inflamation. So for now, we are going to try to treat the problem with some steriods to see if that helps any. I'll keep you posted as things progress!
Thank you so much to everyone who has been purring, praying, and showing your support! As soon as momma bean gets a chance she will be around to thank each and everyone of you!

Wonderful news about the temp and the best Christmas present. Still, you look awfully cute in your new blue pj's. Now to calm down that bladder inflammation so your momma can get some rest.

Have a very Merry Christmas from all of us. Thanks for the card.

Yay! That sounds much better than a UTI. Will Moki have extra big muscles after taking the steroids? :) Merry Christmas!

Mom nearly cried when she read the post. We're so glad to hear Moki is doing better. This must be such a huge relief for you all.

Happy holidays to everyone in your household!!

More purrs and prayers will be sent your way.

PS We're no longer sharing "seriously amused" with Mom and now have a new blog all our own. In the new year she'll probably use SA as her photoblog again.
